Many Thanks to Miss Padroni, Consultant Ophthalmologist, who on the 8 February, gave a very informative talk on the effects of diabetes on our eyes and the treatments that are available for different eye conditions. The session was well received generating lots of questions. The key message was that as people living with diabetes we should do our best to manage our blood sugar but if we are unfortunate to suffer eye problems there are successful treatments.
