On the 25 Jan. 2018 we attended the A31 Community Wellbeing Hub based at Chawton Park Surgery in Alton. The theme this time was diabetes and we attended with the Dr Hugh Bethell from the Cardiac Rehab Team.

We chatted and supported around 30 people who had called in to see us, and we provided lots of leaflets and booklets about diabetes. Many people who attended had been living with diabetes for a number of years and appreciated the opportunity to update their knowledge. There were also newly diagnosed people who appreciated the opportunity to chat with longer term sufferers.

Nicky Maule, who organised the event, said she had received lots of positive feedback and we have been invited to return on a regular basis.
